Rome old ‘highways’…

Now let’s take a walk through the south east of Rome towards the Via Appia. That’s what we’ll find:

Via Appia Arco di Druso Maggiore
Via Appia Arco di Druso Maggiore
Via Appia
Via Appia
Via Appia Tomba Cecilia Metella
Via Appia Tomba Cecilia Metella
Via Appia Dettagli Lastricato
Via Appia Dettagli Lastricato

If you ever come to Rome you won’t have to miss the old Via Appia and Cecilia Metella’s tomb.

By bike is a nice experience although a bit hard and you need a strong and reliable mountain-bike… and capable muscles too (look in the last photo detail of the ground old stones!

  1. Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download
it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple
tweeks would really make my blog jump out. Please let
me know where you got your theme. Cheers
